Welcome to EZQMECEU.com!  This is your one stop resource for all of your QME needs.  All of our QME Continuing Education Home Study Programs are convenient and affordable.  We provide an ongoing library of current and relevant Distance Learning programs for the busy QME evaluating doctor.  We also have QME Products - such as QME Report Templates, and examination instruments for the Permanent Impairment evaluation.  For Chiropractic doctors, QME Courses also qualify for Board of Chiropractic Examiners (BCE) Continuing Education Credits.  This is a great way to satisfy BOTH your DWC and BCE Continuing Education requirements at the same time - all for one low price!  This, of course, is a NO-BRAINER!

All QME Continuing Education Home Study Courses are Approved by the Division of Workers Compensation Medical Unit.  You can choose the format best for you:

  • Instant download right to your computer (best value)
  • Hard copy sent by USMail (small upcharge)

All Programs include 1) Written notes and references, 2) Audio lecture, 3) Narrated PowerPoint presentation, 4) Print out of PowerPoint slides, 5) Course Examination.

Benefits of these Program Format options - compared to other online Programs - include:

  • You retain all Course Materials and can review them whenever or wherever you want - as many times as you want.
  • This is far superior to online courses which tie you to your computer (yucko!), make you come back again and again, and give you nothing to keep (CHEAP!).
  • Our courses do not require Internet access!
  • Our Audio Programs come in .mp3 format and can be transferred to cd's, Ipod, tablet,  and Smart Phone so you can listen to the Course "on-the-go."  This makes commute and workout time especially educational (and profitable!).
  • PowerPoint Presentations are narrated by Dr. Carpenter with all lecture and slide timing automated.  Just sit back and relax!!
  • The lecture unfolds just like a live lecture - without having to actually be there (brilliant!).  Many Programs contain embedded videos to provide live demonstration of important topics and principles.

Whatever your preferred learning style, whether listening to lecture in your car, watching the narrated PowerPoint presentation on your computer or Ipad, or simply reading and studying the Course Notes, you can complete your Program in a format compatible with your busy work and life style!

Finally, you can "Get your QME Continuing Education credits the E-Z way!"

THE OBJECTIVE BEAUTY OF
REFLEX TESTING

In our doctor's bag arsenal of so called "objective" tests, very few are truly "objective."  Most Physical Examination maneuvers can be greatly influenced by the motivation (or lack of motivation) of the examinee.  Therein lies the true beauty of reflex testing.  What do "normal" reflexes indicate about the function of the examinee's nervous system.  Normal reflexes tell us that A LOT OF STRUCTURES are functioning normally!  This truly objective finding cannot be influenced by the examinee.  Despite the examinee's reports of 1) sensory disturbances, and 2) weakness, normal reflexes tell us that the nervous system and target organs are intact and, that any dysfunction that the examinee is reporting DOES NOT rise to the level of an impairment under the AMA Guides.  Here, refresh your memory about the reflex arc, and the significance of reflex testing as the MOST IMPORTANT of the Physical Examination maneuvers.
